Shop Facilities

Mega Power is based in a 40,000 square foot facility with a three bay shop and three traveling cranes. Our cranes range in size from 5 to 50 tons and can work simultaneously to provide an even greater lifting capacity up to 70 tons in a vertical position. Combining our 32 feet under crane hook along with a 14 foot deep pump pit allows us to rebuild your vertical pumps in a vertical position.

Mega Power’s in-house machine shop can take care of any machining needs you may have. The shop is equipped with all necessary engine lathes, vertical & horizontal boring mills and balancers. We have the ability to handle very large parts as well as small, intricate pieces. The machine shop is complimented by a complete welding and fabrication operation which enables Mega Power to manufacture your new parts. Furthermore, we have the resources for castings of replacement impellers and other parts.

Finally, an experienced engineering staff allows Mega Power to offer design upgrades and utilize reverse engineering to replace damaged or inadequate parts.
